Now – here’s the deal – Val began her career working for Ross Perot at EDS. So it’s hardly surprising that she brings a tech-savvy approach to marketing. After working as a systems engineer, Val had a career in financial services marketing for 14 years, developing database programs microtargeting bank customers for customized offers and promotions. That same expertise has proven hugely useful in her work with us. In her 14 years at Lewis, Val has managed many of our most successful brands. She is deeply involved in community service, serving the Junior League of Birmingham for ten years as well as on many community boards.
