Lewis Communications is seeking a full-time Data Visualization Designer who is passionate about telling stories with data in an elegant, meaningful way. This Data Visualization Designer candidate knows how to work with data from all different types of industries and knows how to translate and present information in the best way to illuminate the findings and insights contained therein. Building a successful business intelligence advisory group requires that our data deliver on our core promise to gather information, provide meaningful analysis, and advise our clients on the next best action. This requires that our data, analytics and underlying processes are state-of-the-art, continually refined and meet the needs of our clients and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creative design process for visualizing data across disparate data sources, including media data, first party data, third party data, and numerous other sources.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams within our channel engagement, account services, and business intelligence groups.
  • Translate complex analytics into simplified visual data designs.
  • Produce creative designs and output with standard as well as innovative features and interactive options.

  • Knowledge of all media channels including owned, earned, and paid
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Google Docs/Sheets/Slides, PowerPoint, and/or Keynote
  • Strong negotiation, oral/written communication, presentation, and mathematical skills
  • Exceptional detail orientation and commitment to high-quality work
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to respond and adapt to changing priorities
  • Experience working with media buying and research tools such as Advantage, Nielsen, SQAD, Sizmek, Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads, and Programmatic Buying Platforms
