As a Digital Strategist at our Agency, your role will be connecting content strategy with our client’s brand and business strategy. You will define work, in collaboration with Creative, Channel Planning, and Strategy, to create customer journeys, trigger programs, content topics, and experiences that directly support client business goals. A successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of digital marketing, a track record of delivering results, a passion for innovation, and an understanding of content's critical role in business growth. Passion and curiosity are required, inspiring the team by providing clarity and completion to connected brand experiences.
Reports to: Vice President of Strategy and Research
The suggested qualifications for the position of Digital Strategist are:
Education: A Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably in Advertising, Public Relations, or Marketing
Experience: 4-5+ years of relevant work experience, advertising/marketing agency experience preferred
Experience in content strategy, content creation, and UX/UI
Digital/social media marketing, CRM, and email marketing experience
Excellent written and verbal skills
A self-starter with high expectations
Skilled at managing your own time
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple projects
Strategic planning skills and strategic mindset
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Digitally fluent, with knowledge of digital marketing best practices

This job description will provide you with guidelines for understanding your responsibilities. These guidelines may change to meet the specific business needs of the Agency.
Strategic Content Planning: Collaborate with creative/content developers, content and channel planners, data analysts, and strategists to develop, refine, and assist with executing a client's strategic content plans.
Campaign Architecture: Define cross-channel campaign hierarchies and architecture for both automated and always-on strategies as well as calendar-driven campaigns that fall out of the broader business and brand strategy.
Customer Journey Mapping: Identify gaps and opportunities throughout the paid, owned, and earned customer journey and define how to fill/leverage them.
UX/UI Experience & Design: Work alongside content developers and web designers to continuously improve the user experience and design.
Campaign Analysis & Optimizations: Assess current campaign performance and consumer insights to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly monitor progress.
Audience Intelligence: Use an understanding of the target audience(s) to recommend relevant content topics, goals/objectives, and recommended channel placement.
Automated Marketing: Leverage personalization technology to deliver relevant experiences throughout the customer lifecycle. This will require a more technical understanding of owned and paid platform capabilities.
Innovation and New Initiatives: Propose and champion innovative ideas and new initiatives. Drive cross-functional teams to execute these initiatives and track their success.
Reporting and Communication: In collaboration with other departments, prepare and present strategic content plans, progress reports, and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
